Dr. Scott Hoyer is the director of the Seattle Study Club of Madison. We are committed to providing our study club members a casual atmosphere for comprehensive continuing dental education and to strive for excellence in clinical treatment planning skills. Our interactive sessions have allowed our referring practitioners to learn in a non-competitive environment from fellow general practitioners and many specialists, including oral surgeons, prosthodontists, endodontists, periodontists, and orthodontists. This multidisciplinary input has assisted many of our members in planning difficult cases, while allowing fellow participants to learn from their peers.

The Seattle Study Club was originally started by Dr. Michael Cohen in the early 1990’s and has become a network of dental study clubs. Currently, there are over 230 Affiliate Clubs in the United States, Canada and Australia, all dedicated to bringing the finest in continuing dental education to clinicians in their local communities. While each club is run by its own Director, they all follow the Seattle Study Club model, and adhere to the underlying goals and tenets of the organization.
