About Dr. Hauge
A native Wisconsian, Dr. Charles Hauge is proud to return to the practice that jump-started his interest in pursuing oral and maxillofacial surgery. As a senior in high school, he came to Madison Oral Surgery & Dental Implants to have his wisdom teeth removed. This experience would inspire him to venture into oral surgery, knowing that he would be able to help people and equip them with confidence and better smiles. He is excited to be part of a practice that he has such a personal connection with that offers collaborative and patient-centric care.
Dr. Hauge is most driven by the knowledge that he is able to positively impact patients’ lives. Watching their quality of life and confidence improve after surgery is an invaluable reminder of how important and impactful oral and maxillofacial surgery is. To ensure that all patients receive the best experience possible, Dr. Hauge takes the time to walk every patient through the details of their procedure, aiming to alleviate any anxiety of the unknown. His goal is to empower his patients by providing them with the information they need to feel prepared for any procedure.
Education & Residency
Dr. Hauge was inspired to pursue oral and maxillofacial surgery after having his wisdom teeth removed at Madison Oral Surgery & Dental Implants as a senior in high school. He began his educational journey at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where he earned a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2016. In 2020, he completed his Doctor of Dental Science degree at Marquette University’s School of Dentistry. After graduation, he continued forward and successfully completed his oral and maxillofacial residency in 2024 at Emory University’s School of Medicine. While at Emory, Dr. Hauge won the prestigious Resident Teaching Award and served as the administrative chief resident during his final year.

Dr. Hauge is board-eligible and plans to receive certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of:

Outside the Office
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Hauge enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their family and friends. He is an avid fan of Wisconsin sports teams and can be found cheering for the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers, in particular.
