About Dr. Walsh

Dr. Walsh, originally from Racine, WI, brings a heartfelt commitment to patient-centered care at Madison Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. His journey into oral and maxillofacial surgery was sparked by a deep-seated fascination with surgical procedures, which blossomed during his dental school years.

After serving in the Air Force, Dr. Walsh honed his skills as an associate in a private practice in Iowa before finding his home at Madison Oral Surgery & Dental Implants. Here he found a team of surgeons who shared his dedication to honesty, competence, and trustworthiness.

For Dr. Walsh, the most rewarding part of his work is the opportunity to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds and guide them through procedures that may initially evoke anxiety. Witnessing the transformation in his patients' lives fuels his passion for oral surgery, as he strives to make each experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. His goal is to provide the highest quality care while fostering a sense of trust and belonging.

Education & Residency

Dr. Walsh began his journey into oral and maxillofacial surgery at Marquette University where he earned his bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences in 2008. He remained at Marquette, enrolling in its school of dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 2011. In 2015, he completed his residency through the US Air Force Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the David Grant Medical Center.

Dr. Walsh is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of:

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Dr. Walsh enjoys fishing and golfing. He also skis with his wife and enjoys spending time with her and their three children.
