A patients smile before and after a whitening treatment. If you are trying to have a whiter smile, but your schedule is tight, there are a few things that you can do. Obviously, if you want a real whitening job done on your teeth, then give your dentist a call.

They may be able to fit you in for a whitening session before your event. However, if they are too full up, there are a few little things you can do to help brighten your smile. Here are some of the quickest and easiest things you can do.

Getting a Whiter Smile Quick

If you are a woman looking to get a whiter smile, quick, try picking out a blueish lipstick. Outline your lips with a light concealer, then use this lipstick. The blueish color gives your teeth a whiter look than other reds or oranges would give.

Another option is being careful with what you eat. If you eat a lot of dark foods that are known to stain, like mustard, beets, or curry, then you should avoid those right before your event. Make sure that you add strawberries to your daily routine during that time as well, as they are great tooth whiteners on their own.

If you are brave, you can also brush your teeth with charcoal capsules. It is scary to many because it makes your entire mouth black, but it doesn't stain. In fact, it lightens your smile and helps bring about brighter shades of white when you use it.
